Observed during the Meltdown
Today Gretchen came to see me teach the Harlem Renaissance lesson. Two minutes before she got here I had an incident with a student yelling at me as well as the drama of an E-Core where all the kids are wild and not doing what they are supposed to do- and they could care less about their grades or what will happen. The HR lesson went okay- I felt like the kids were testing me again and they were blurting alot- told them to Take Breaks every 2 seconds. Gretchen felt that the kids were relatively on task. The second class went better with lots of interaction and it always feels like the first class is more challenging- they are the hardest class.
