r group's box. It was fun and entertaining and the kids asked me if we were going to do more and sat in the lines relatively enthralled. I was in the library again today and watching them research and helping decide what was which theme (government, the arts, social life, or innovation) was challenging to me too. I see them getting more and more interested in their decades. I think we are going to have to make clear that they need to focus on US HISTORY and not events around the world- unless they directly effect the US or had people from the US in it. On Friday I am going to lead a class on Political Cartoons, we have decided to focus on the thirties for the examples but the kids are going to use their notes to make their own cartoons. On Tuesday Barbara West is coming to view my teaching- we will still be researching but their will at least be an interactive warm up and directions given. I have to get my notebook in order this weekend.
